Conferral of The James Joyce Award to Omar Suleiman in the Fitzgerald Chamber in the Student Centre on Friday 9th February at 6.30pm.
Omar Suleiman has done exemplary work as a Muslim scholar and religious leader. Founding the Yaqeen Institute, he has produced many lectures and books about bridging cultural divides, fostering dialogue and promoting a deeper appreciation for diverse perspectives whilst aiding the education of Muslims particularly in the West. Additionally, his works as an activist and the foundation of the Muhammad Ali Confident Muslim Award highlighting influential Muslims who have had a profound impact on their community.
The Society is honoured to be presenting Omar Suleiman the James Joyce Award.
